Audits’ Legitimacy Being Reviewed by WV Medicaid Integrity Unit
This past year, multiple WV dentists have received audit notices from Skygen. Some of these audits are attempting to clawback over $30,000!
Be aware some of the findings are not related to WV Medicaid or Center for Medicaid Services written policies. WV Medicaid is aware of these audits and have directed their Medicaid Integrity Unit to review them.
If you are working with an attorney, you should follow their advice; but the WVDA cautions you against making any payments to Skygen/The Health Plan until the Medicaid Integrity Unit has finalized their review.
