WVDA Staff

The WVDA staff is a dedicated team of professionals committed to supporting the association’s daily operations and long-term initiatives. They work behind the scenes to coordinate member services, manage educational programs, and promote advocacy efforts. Hallie Mason

Hallie provides strategic leadership and oversight for all WVDA programs and staff, developing and recommending policies and initiatives to align with the organization’s objectives. She ensures the effective execution of directives from the Executive Committee and Council.

In addition, Hallie fosters relationships with key strategic partners to advance the WVDA’s mission and serves as the association’s primary lobbyist at both state and federal levels.

Susan Jones

Susan manages the daily operations of the WVDA, overseeing membership processes, including new member onboarding, member relations, and dues administration. She serves as the primary liaison with the American Dental Association, ensuring accurate membership data management and communication.

In her role, Susan also oversees the association’s financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bank account management, financial reporting, and tax compliance. With over 30 years of dedicated service, she is a trusted resource and often the first point of contact for WVDA members.

Lona Ross

Insurance Administrator

Lona serves as the State Administrator for the Professional Protector Plan (PPP), managing the dental professional liability program as a licensed insurance agent. Under her leadership, the PPP, endorsed by the West Virginia Dental Association, provides essential coverage and support to dental professionals across the state.

The WVDA Executive Committee consists of seasoned leaders who provide strategic direction and governance for the association. These distinguished professionals work collaboratively to advocate for the dental profession, enhance education opportunities, and ensure the success of our members.
