Thanks to WVDA members’ visibility on Dentistry Day at the Legislature in January, a $5 million appropriation for the WVU School of Dentistry was included in a larger bill for higher education!
House Bill 5682 was signed by the Governor last week.
THIS is why the WVDA needs a presence at the legislature. Thank you to the 16 dentists who spent a day meeting with legislators at the Capitol. They elevated conversations around oral health, insurance, specialty residencies, and our beloved dental school.
