The 2026 West Virginia Oral Health Summit will be held in Wheeling, WV, at Oglebay Resort and Conference Center on Sept. 11, 2026.
Offered at the Summit will be a 6-hour course titled Expanded Duties for the Restorative Dental Assistant. Please share this hands-on, skill-building session with any dental assistants, as they will learn core competencies that enable them to perform more procedures under supervision, increase productivity, and improve patient care.
The Expanded Duties for the Restorative Dental Assistant session offered during this year’s West Virginia Oral Health Summit is limited to 25 participants and has been approved by the WV Board of Dentistry to fulfill the required 6-hour didactic component dental assistants must complete prior to engaging in restorative expanded functions.
