Today is the 50th day of the 60 day legislative session. Any bills that do not pass out of their chamber of origin are dead. HB 5661 – Dental Medicaid Fee Increase did not make it out of the House Health Committee, so it will see no further action.
The WVDA was pleased with the response we received from legislators who were willing to sponsor the bill AND the fact the bill received a public hearing. We will continue discussions with both Medicaid and legislators in 2026.
