Your WVDA was successful in having House Bill 5661 – Increasing Medicaid dental provider reimbursement rates on Tuesday!
Provider rates are dictated by Medicaid’s State Plan on file with the Center for Medicaid Services in DC. However, the WVDA has been frustrated with the lack of interest by both Medicaid and the Governor’s Office in addressing the poor reimbursement for many procedures.
Therefore, our friends in the legislature have sponsored HB 5661 to increase Medicaid fees at least 20% beginning in 2028. Please thank the following delegates for acting on our concerns:
