Last night, the House Health Committee held a public hearing on HB 4810 – Dental Insurance Transparency Bill.
Attempting to kill the bill, Big Dental Insurance worked with Delegate Walter Hall to convince the rest of the committee “there is no need for a bill, the Office of the Insurance Commissioner can do all of this without a law.”
That is not the case! 30 other states would not have passed a Virtual Credit Card and Network Leasing Laws if Big Insurance voluntarily gave dentists payment options and stopped selling their agreements to other insurers.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED AGAIN! Please call your legislator on the committee and tell them – THIS MUST BE A LAW. Big insurance will not stop doing an action that is making them money without being told through law.
Tell them you won’t settle for an “agreement” with the Insurance Commissioner. We MUST HAVE A BILL!
