This course provides a comprehensive up to date review of antibiotic prophylaxis for patients with prosthetic joints, cardiac, and other medical conditions as well as appropriate antibiotic use for extractions, implants, bone grafting, minor oral surgical procedures, pulpal and periapical infections and periodontal treatment. A review of all current clinical guidelines related to antibiotic prophylaxis and therapeutic use will be covered. Antibiotic stewardship and an action plan to implement in your office or clinic will be covered.
